Dates With Mom and Dad

Isn't it fun to sometimes just have your own special time with Mom or Dad? I know they really try to do this as much as possible at Aunt Jen and Uncle Lowell's house and it seems to be a favorite thing for their girls! Last night Julia and Mommy had a special date.

They went out to eat Chinese food and then had pedicures and then for dessert they could be found at The Village for pie. That is where the above photo was taken. Aunt Jen must like this place because that is the place she wanted to go when she and I had our last Mommy/Daughter date. That is also one of my favorite things to do. One on one is lots of fun!

Ouch!

Hi Kidlets,

Grampa and I have been noticing as we have gotten older that we wake up with different aches and pains once in awhile. It happens more often then we like to admit actually. Well, today I woke up with one. My arms have been aching and the reason is that I just want to wrap them around each of you and give you a big hug! What is better than a big hug to make us feel better? Hugs are super, we are big fans of hugs in our family, right? A hug just says 'you are so special to me and I love you so much' without using words!!

That is the ache and the pain is not having a date when we can actually do that again. I love to have something to look forward to where you are concerned and right now we have no idea when we will be together again. We have to get a plan going for this year. So here is a solution for now:
